Things to do in Eastbourne...

...when you're not playing board games.  There's so much to do between games, many of which are part of the tradition for our regulars.  Plenty of ideas below, but you can find loads more at the Visit Eastbourne site.

Getting to Eastbourne

BY ROAD:

Eastbourne is just 44 miles south of the M25, less than an hour from London. Key approach roads include:

From M25 (west), Heathrow and Gatwick Airports - follow the M23 and A27

From M25 (east), Dartford and Stansted - follow the A22

BY RAIL:

Eastbourne is on the Southern Railway network with direct trains from generally every half hour from London Victoria (90mins journey time). Direct trains can also be caught from Ashford International (69 mins), Brighton (33 mins) and Lewes (18 mins).

Alternative Accomodation

To get the best LoBsterCon experience, in our ever so humble opinion, it's best to stay at the venue.  But, if your tastes or budget differ that’s OK, and you can still help us out by using one of these links.

Ice Cream

A trip to the justifiably famous Fusciardi's is a LoBsterCon tradition.  Their ever-changing menu of flavours makes for a break-time treat no matter the weather.

Chips and Fish

Another seaside tradition, there are plenty of options, but we love the incongruously named Holiday Inn most of all..

Walking

There are many great walks to be had in and around Eastbourne, not least of which is over to the famous Beachy Head cliffs.

The Pier

Within easy walking distance of our venue, with tea rooms, a chippy, bars and marvellous views of the sea.
